Synopsis of Class
It is time once again where certain fisherman get that strange twitch in the corner of their eye. A time of year when otherwise normal men and women turn into steelheading fanatics.  The steelhead start to run in from the great lakes and the fisherman start to run to the rivers.  Everyone has a favorite pattern.  The ones you will tie up in this class are some tried and true patterns and some are new to fly fishing.  All are very productive.   The four that will be taught in this class are simple patterns that with slight color and material changes can be adapted to any situation.

All tying material will be provided. You will need to bring the following tying equipment.
  • A vise
  • A Bobbin
  • Tying Thread (for this class, black, tan, gray or brown 6/0 or 8/0)
  • Head Cement
  • Scissors
  • Dubbing Twister for dubbing loops
  • Half hitch tools and/or Whip Finish Tool
