Synopsis of Class
|
The Brookville tailwater has turned into quite a nice trout fishery here in central Indiana.
We are often asked at the shop "what flies are working at Brookville"? The answer usually depends
on the time of year. We have done a couple of classes already dealing with specific types of
flies for tailwater fisheries such as Brookville, however this class will deal with a number of
different nymph patterns that have proven particularly productive at
Brookville.
As with most tailwaters you can fish these flies at any time and catch fish
because the food these flies represent are always present in
the stream. Along with teaching you how to tie these patterns
we will discuss the best time and conditions to fish them.
The flies you will tie are,
|

Fox's Dead Drift Sowbug
|

Scud Nymph
|

Fox's Worm Scud
|

Whitlock Red Fox Squirrel Nymph
|
