Synopsis of Class
|
The best part of the fishing season at Brookville is just
starting. Soon minnows will be the hot ticket in this
little tailwater. The trout will be trying to fatten
up for the winter and all of the young of the year minnows
are just what they are after. You can still catch fish
on nymphs but it is a lot of fun on a crisp fall day to just
lazily swing streamers through the current for hungry trout.
In this class you will learn to tie the following four
streamer patterns that work well down at brookville.. They are the

All tying material will be provided. You will need to bring the
following tying equipment.
- A vise
- A Bobbin (bring two, and an extra spool of
black thread)
- Tying Thread
- for this class black and olive 6/0 (100 -
140 denier)
- Head Cement
- Scissors
- Half hitch tools and/or Whip Finish Tool
