Synopsis of Class
|
Many people think the best time for smallmouth fishing is
when temperatures fall and the water clears. This is because
smallmouth become very active in the fall feeding on bait
fish and minnows fattening up for the winter. The water is
usually lower and clearer in the fall. If you get out on the
water right before the leaves start to fall you can see
smallmouth chasing minnows all along the banks and around
riffles and rapids.

All tying material will be provided. You will need to bring the
following tying equipment.
- A vise
- A Bobbin
- Tying Thread
- for this class white, brown, olive 3/0 (190 -
210 denier)
- Dubbing Loop Tool
- Hair Packer
- Hair Stacker
- Head Cement
- Scissors
- Half hitch tools and/or Whip Finish Tool
