Synopsis of Class
|
Just because the weather is getting cooler and the days
shorter do not write off the trusty bluegill as a fish to
target. Bluegill are very active all year round. You
simply have to change your flies and tactics a bit in order
to continue the fun. Our class this Saturday will
focus on some fun bluegill flies that are as much fun to tie
as they are to fish. Most are subsurface but just in
case you happen to be out on a sunny and warm day we have
thrown in a top water fly as well. As an added bonus I
will show you how to tie the QBP. Come join us this
Saturday at 2:00pm to find out what the QBP is!
In this class you will learn to tie the following four
panfish flies.

All tying material will be provided. You will need to bring the
following tying equipment.
- A vise
- A Bobbin
- Tying Thread
- for this class black, red and pink 6/0 (100 -
140 denier)
- Head Cement
- Scissors
- Half hitch tools and/or Whip Finish Tool
