Synopsis of Class
|
Tying flies to catch bluegill, bass and trout is great fun,
especially catching fish on them. However, many fly
tier get started tying flies because they have seen some of
the more "classic" patterns and fallen in love with them.
Whether they are streamers, wet flies or Atlantic Salmon
flies they are all colorful and well designed flies. A
tier I tie with often refers to them as "Hat Flies".
In this class you will tie three classic wet fly patterns
that you can either display or fish with. The prupose
of this class is to introduce tiers to the classic wet fly
patterns as well as learn the basic steps to matching wings
as well as marrying wings. They are all productive
patterns as well as pretty.
