Synopsis of Class
|
Marc Petitjean's Magic Tool is a new twist on an old method of fly tying.
By using this tool you can easily make all kinds up specialty dubbing for dry
and wet flies. One of the great things about this tool is that you can
use natural material as well as synthetics and a combination of both.
In this class you will tie four different flies that will take you through
all the aspects of what this tool can do. The flies are very simple to make
once you get the hang of the tool. As well as tying up these flies, we have
some time after the flies to experiment a little. Once you begin trying new ideas
with this set of tools you will be amazed at some of the things you can do.
You can find out some more information about the Magic Tool and what it can do by
visiting Marc Petitjean's web site.
There are even some instructional slide shows to help you understand what this tool can do.
You need to have the Magic Tool for this class.
The flies we will tie up in this class are designed to help you learn the Magic Tool
and not so much as learning a specific pattern (although the flies themselves are very
productive). The flies are,
