Synopsis of Class
|
The warmer weather is finally starting to show up and
everyone is itching to get out for some smallmouth fun.
In the early season, before the water is warm enough for
topwater action, you must turn to streamers fished low and
slow to get smallies to bite.
However, soon the smallies will be a little deeper in the
rivers to get away from the bright sun. That means
streamers will be more productive. Especially heavily
weighted flies that can fish the bottom.
In this class we will be tying up four proven patterns for
smallmouth streamer fishing. By varying the amount of
weight on these flies you can fish them right on the bottom
or anywhere in between. They have wonderful action and
are fun to tie. One in particular is one of my "go to"
flies when all else fails. In order to find out which
one it is, come on in a tie it up with us this Saturday.
The flies you will tie in this class are,
