Synopsis of Class
|
Aside from Egg patterns being great for salmon, they are
also dynamite on steelhead. Fall steelhead season is
just around the corner and this year we are having a series
of steelhead classes focused just on steelhead. The
first in our series is the egg pattern class. Egg
patterns are usually fished in tandem with streamers, nymphs
or sometimes dry patterns.
In Saturday's tying class we will be focusing on
just egg patterns for steelhead. We will be tying a
five
tried and true patterns that are very productive in Michigan,
Ohio and just about any other steelhead water in the
Midwest. We will actually be tying each patterns
probably twice because they are so quick to tie up. Through out the class
we will be discussing different ways to
fish these flies. This should be a great class and you do
not want to miss it!
