Synopsis of Class
|
So far we have two classes in our fall steelhead series
under our belt. Egg patterns and nymph patterns were
both fun classes. We now move on to steelhead
streamers. Good streamer patterns are a must for any
serious steelheader. Indicator fishing with eggs or
nymphs can be fun but if you want explosive hits then you
have to be swinging streamers.
In this Saturday's tying class we will be focusing on
four streamer patterns for steelhead. These patterns
are very productive in Michigan,
Ohio and just about any other steelhead water in the
Midwest. Through out the class we will be discussing
different ways to fish these flies. If you want to have
some serious fun on your next steelhead outing, learn to tie
up some of these streamers.
