Synopsis of Class
|
If you have ever cast jointed Lazy Ike's or Rapala's you
know just how effective this action can be on fish.
You can accomplish similar action in the flies you tie by
making them articulated. Basically, an articulated fly
is two flies connected by wire or monofilament such that the
two flies have separate action from one another. You
can make almost any fly pattern into an articulated pattern
but there are a number of popular patterns that have been
developed over the years that are specifically made with
articulation in mind. The purpose of this tying class
is to introduce you to the methods of articulation as well
as show you how to tie some very productive articulated
patterns that are must to have in your fly box.
The flies you will learnt to tie in this class are, |

Ray Schmidt's Rattle Snake
|

Kelly Galloup's Articulated Zoo Cougar |

Kelly Galloup's Crawl Daddy |

Russ Maddin's Circus Peanut |
