Synopsis of Class
|
Just because the summer days are waning and the water
temperature is dropping don't think the panfish have stopped
biting. Fall is a great time to get out on your
favorite pond lake or stream to chase after bluegill, redear,
rock bass, and crappie. They can be very aggressive in
the fall because they have to get ready for the winter.
Fish will be feeding on minnows, crayfish, insects and just
about anything else that ends up in the water and looks like
food. Also, keep in mind that as the water temps drop
and we get some warm sunny days the fish will be more active
as the shallow waters warm up. You can still get some
great action on the surface around weed beds, stumps, logs
and grass.

All tying material will be provided. You will need to bring the
following tying equipment.
- A vise
- A bobbin
- Tying Thread for this class Chartreuse, black, and Olive
6/0 (70 - 100 Denier)
- Head Cement
- Bodkin
- Hackle pliers
- Scissors (Good sharp scissors!)
- Half hitch tools and/or Whip Finish Tool
