Synopsis of Class
|
Now that colder weather is upon us some fisherman and woman
are looking to head south to warmer climates to continue
fishing. Florida is always a popular destination for
escaping the white stuff and for prolonging the fishing
season. But you do not have to travel all the way down
to the keys to find great fishing in the sunshine state.
The entire West coast of Florida has great fishing year
round. Redfish, Sea Trout, Jack Crevalle, and Snook
are popular fish along the west coast. some of these
species are more prevalent during warmer water temps but
depending on your destination along the west coast you can
pretty much catch these fish year round. There are
many patterns to cast upon the waters for these fish and
often one pattern will work for different species. In
this tying class we will be tying four proven patterns for
the West coast of Florida. Changing material colors
and hook sizes is a quick and easy way to have a fly box
full of flies that will keep you catching fish until the
tulips are in bloom in Indiana again.
The flies we will tie in this class are,
