Synopsis of Class
|
Summer is a great time for bluegill. Who doesn't love
heading out to the pond on a warm summer evening and catch
bluegill as the sun goes down. Bluegill, as well as
all panfish, are very active throughout the summer months
and often can be a great "fall back" fish when others aren't
biting. One of the great aspects for fishing for
bluegill is they feed well on subsurface and topwater
throughout the day. In this class we will be tying
four proven patterns for bluegill. All of these should
be in your panfish box this summer.
Incidentally, in a little bigger sizes they are also great summer smallmouth bass
flies!
For this class you will tie the following flies.
