I posted on The Drift last week the fly fishing channel on Vimeo but did not realize at the time that there is also a fly tying channel. Our recent video on the Copic airbrush poppers has turned some heads. Anyway, check out the fly tying channel on Vimeo. There are some great videos and flies. My mind is racing with thoughts of new flies!

The Unexpected Party
We had the pleasure of Dave Holser (Pilecast.net) at FlyMasters again this weekend. Dave took videos and stills of our Copic Airbrush class and he got some fantastic shots. After looking at some of his photos I was inspired to take a few of my own on Sunday. I put them all into a slideshow to share with everyone. Dave will be posting some video footage in the near future so keep an eye on Pilecast.net.

Anderson Hammerhead Video
Thanks to the folks at A Tight Loop there is now a great video out on tying the Anderson Hammerhead. It was just released in the January issue of A Tight Loop. The video is clear, concise and well narrated. I am sharing it here but make certain you check out A Tight Loop for other great videos, articles and photos.

Grey Ghost Streamer
On a little bit of a kick this week with the new website Streamers365. Just wanted to show you one of the great videos they have located on the sight. This is Davie McPhail tying the Grey Ghost Streamer. A great fly to tie and fish.

Streamers 365
In my endless pursuit of fly tying knowledge, and the occasional free moment to surf the vast Internet, I have run across a great new web site just for classic streamers. Streamer365.com will be posting a new streamer pattern everyday for the next 365. Actually, 366 since it is a leap year.
Everything about this site is all classic streamer patterns. These are the long carry Stevens type flies that are just beautiful. There is all sorts of information about rare and hard to find hooks, tying videos, and history about the various flies. This is a great site to bookmark and revisit. Especially since winter is now here and you will be spending more time at your vise.
