In a little more than two weeks I am headed up to Michigan for summer fishing fun. I will be fishing Beaver Island for three days and then off to Sylvania Wilderness for about five days. Should be all sorts of warmwater fun. The first step in 2012 Project Michigan is tying the flies. Although I have a number of flies already tied and ready to go I have to have shiny new ones. So, I have been hitting the vise every night. I tied up a bunch of Hammerheads for the trip. I have tied close to 75 of these babies in the past few days. Some are for me and some I already sent to Beaver Island for Kevin Morlock and Steve Martinez.
